Finally! A hashtag not about politics or sports. A Tuesday miracle! My Tuesday vibe consists of the following:
Christmas
The hearth is decorated! Sadly, the lights on my little tree went out about 1 week after decorating. Getting a new strand out would take 15 minutes of digging out of storage. No-go Bob. I'll just live with a dark tree for two more days.
Fuzzy pants
Shoutout to Lia P. for these warm fuzzy birthday pants. It's the right outfit to set the mood for today.
Laundry
Sadly, normal life must continue in the midst of the Christmas season. Here's to laundry and working remotely.
Wintertime
The snow started coming down in earnest about 30 minutes ago. Cheers to a proper winter feeling outside.
Anticipation
The best part about the holidays is the anticipation of fun gatherings. I'm looking forward to table games with the family (Kelsi recently discovered that Wingspan CAN be the greatest game on earth), cookies/cupcakes with sprinkles (Malcolm recently discovered that sprinkles make EVERYTHING more delicious), stockings, puzzles and general merriment. I'm also looking forward to my trip with my dad to Vietnam. Can't get much better than two weeks of international travel. Cheers to ending the new year in style!
